To install a app loader Toolbox for free on your Firestick, use the sideloading app called "Downloader.
Step 1: Prepare Your Firestick
- Go to Settings on your Fire TV home screen.
- Select My Fire TV (or Device / My Fire TV depending on your model).
- Select Developer Options.
- Turn on Install Unknown Apps specifically for the Downloader app.
(Note: If you do not see Developer Options, click About and click the name of your Fire TV device 7 times until it says "No need, you are already a developer.
Step 2: Install AppToolbox
- Return to the home screen and search for the Downloader app in the Find/Search tab, then download and open it.
- Click the URL search bar inside the Downloader app and type the Toolbox code: 250931.
- Click Go.
- Wait for the redirect and the Toolbox page to load.
Once the Toolbox page loads, the application can be installed on the device. When using tools that allow for sideloading, it is important to exercise caution and ensure that any software being installed is from a reputable and verified source to protect the device from security vulnerabilities.
Managing applications on a Firestick involves:
- Regularly updating installed apps to ensure the latest security patches are in place.
- Reviewing app permissions to maintain privacy.
- Removing any applications that are no longer in use to optimize device performance.

Update on Amazon Fire TV Products
There is a lot of chatter on the internet about Amazon starting to block third party apps on their devices. They are attempting to force you to purchace their subscriber services.
If Amazon continues doing this with third party streaming apps a lot of great third party apps will not be available on Amazon. eg. Firesticks.
Note: If you do not use a firestick and use an Android tv box, not google based, this should not happen to you and you shouldn't have issues.
Amazon has already block some movie streaming apps, Cinema HD and BTV, on their Firesticks. Android boxes don't block downloading of 3rd party apps. Moving to an Android TV box is something you might consider.
Amazon might re-assess this if they are worried about a major decline in sales, but by their current actions I dought they will.
Recently Google considered doing this with their Google android boxes and quickly reversed their decision, however they might change their mind again and start blocking streaming apps.
